AZIMUT 45 FLYBRIDGE FOR SALE
Structure and shape of hull
The structural design of the hull has been approved by RINA (EC approval category B). This guarantees the structural quality which is enhanced by the use of innovative materials and technologies.
The hull and all the superstructures (deck, deckhouse, flybridge) have been built using the infusion technique. This construction technology reduces weight and, at the same time, improves construction control and quality. Bow and engine room trays: these are structural trays made through infusion.
The key element of this transformation is the increasingly widespread use of the latest structural adhesives (replacing the traditional clamps).
Fiberglass structures using multiaxial fabric with a powder binder. Neopentilic and isophtalic spray gelcoat. PVC foam is used for the sandwich panels on the hull, deck and superstructures. The engine room and bow anticollision structural bulkheads are made of PVC infused sandwich.
The structural calculations have been checked using FEM analysis. FEM models were generated for the hull structures. This calculation system is used in the aeronautical and car manufacturing sectors. It allows us to simulate the behavior of a boat under extreme conditions, accurately checking the levels of stress and deformation.
DCPD resin was used for the internal layers of the hull and for the superstructures.
Vinylester resins were used for the external layers of the hull (resistance to osmosis and staining, print through).
