Want to take the festivities outside? The aft galley counter vertical glass window swings open from the bottom and attaches easily to the underside of the aft sunshade allowing your entertaining space to further extend to the aft outdoor lounge.
This, coupled with the all-glass door locked in the open position, opens up the entire back of the yacht interior galley/salon to the aft lounge, creating an expansive entertaining space. Among the amenities in the outdoor lounge includes an electric Kenyon grill, a refrigerator, wet bar, as well as an ice maker. Want to lounge in the sun?
The aft seating area can easily converted to a sun lounge/pad with a simple press of the button. Too much sun? Another press of a button and you can extend the overhead shade panel over the entire aft lounge/seating area.
Looking to cool off? Step out on the hydraulically controlled swim platform, and with just a touch of the button, the platform can be easily lowered into the water. Want to swim in the evenings? This Cantius is also comes equipped with the optional underwater lighting system at the stern.
This Cantius is powered by twin Volvo Penta D6 IPS600 diesels with the POD Drive System. The popular propulsion system provides maximum maneuverability and among best-in-class fuel efficiency. A dedicated Volvo engine monitoring system is located at the helm, along with Garmin Auto Pilot, Cruise Control, and Joystick docking controls.
This yacht also features a Dockmate Remote Docking System for added convenience. Among the instruments, this yacht is complimented with a full upgraded Garmin Electronics package and two (2) separate 15″ and 12″ chart plotter touchscreens (sonar and radar capable), providing not only redundancy, but allowing for ease of planning extended journeys. This Cantius also comes equipped with a Kohler generator, capable of supporting every electronic function on the yacht.
Comfort and conveniences are abound with three (3) individual air conditioners to keep the interior of this yacht cool and comfortable. One dedicated to the salon, galley, and helm with the other two each dedicated to serve a specific stateroom.
In addition to the LG flat screen TV in the salon/galley area, a Sony CD/DVD/Sirius stereo head is conveniently located near the galley powering speakers throughout the upper deck and aft lounge. Each stateroom also features their own dedicated LG flat screen TV and Sony CD/DVD/Sirius stereo controllers as well.
This yacht comes equipped with Direct/Satellite TV and also features a central vacuum system. Staterooms are roomy and comfortable with plenty of natural light supplied a generous number of windows/portholes within the hull. All windows do come equipped with blinds for increased privacy. The owner stateroom is an in-suite stateroom, with a queen berth and adjoining head with separate shower accessible directly from the stateroom.
The second head or ‘day’ head with shower is accessed from the hall just outside the second stateroom. The second stateroom is quite large and offers not only a double sized berth, but also a recliner that can be converted to a bed for small children. Additionally, the second stateroom features an individual reading lounge seat on the port side of the room.
Another distinctive advantage of the 45 Cantius is the placement of the water, fuel intake, and pump-out portals/locations. Many competitive yachts this size have two fuel tanks with one intake portal on each side of the boat. Some even have two holding tanks similarly placed. Not the 45 Cantius! One intake portal each exists for fuel and water, as well as for the pump-out portal.
All are situated on the starboard (Captain’s) side of the vessel. Having one location for all intakes saves not only time as these become single operations versus two, but also eliminates the possibility of bringing dirty hoses for each application on or even sometimes into the yacht.
