For boaters who wish to purchase a boat in the U.S. and bring it back to Canada, there will be NO Canadian PUNITIVE RATE when the boat enters Canada.
We will continue to operate under the MEDA (Free Trade Agreement) rules as in the past. This decision remains in effect for the time being.
Canada has decided to suspend its 2nd wave of punitive tariffs. But everything remains quite volatile, and we have to be attentive to any changes or negotiations between Canada and the United States. Things can change quickly.
