CALOGERO is a 2023 Aicon Vivere 66, built in Messina, Sicily, and delivered as a custom "Vivere Aicon" edition, featuring an extensive list of factory-installed options. Designed by Sergio Cutolo (Hydro-Tec) in collaboration with Marc-Udo Broich, the Vivere 66 is the flybridge model from the Aicon shipyard.
Featuring a deep-V hull, the vessel is defined by two signature elements: a skylight on the flybridge that floods the salon below with natural light, and Aicon’s characteristic circular portholes—which reach a diameter of 1.5 meters in the owner’s stateroom.
CALOGERO is equipped with the most powerful engine option offered by the shipyard: twin 1,300 hp MAN V8 diesel engines, paired with shaft drives via V-drives. These engines have approximately 450 hours of run time. According to the manufacturer’s specifications, this configuration allows for a cruising speed of approximately 27 knots and a top speed of around 31 knots. Its technical specifications include electric fin stabilizers, an Interceptor 450S trim control system, bow and stern thrusters, a 100,000 BTU Condaria air-conditioning system, two generators configurable for series or parallel operation, and a Garmin electronics suite featuring dual 16-inch displays.
The lower deck houses three cabins: a full-beam owner’s cabin amidships, a VIP cabin forward, and a guest cabin with twin beds. Each cabin includes an en-suite bathroom with a shower. The bathrooms in the owner’s and VIP cabins are finished in lava stone sourced from Mount Etna in Sicily.
A separate crew cabin, complete with its own bathroom facilities, is located aft of the engine room, ensuring a clear separation between crew areas and guest spaces.

On the main deck, the saloon, galley, and helm station form a bright, open-plan space featuring wooden flooring. Curved glass doors open onto the cockpit, while a dining area is positioned forward, opposite the helm station.
Externally, CALOGERO is perfectly designed for entertaining: the flybridge is protected by a hard-top and includes a barbecue, an ice maker, refrigeration units, and a dining table featuring marble inlays. The cockpit is also equipped with a sink and a refrigerator. The exterior—including the flybridge, side decks, and swim platform—is finished in teak, and the vessel features a hydraulic platform with a 1,000 kg capacity for a tender. Routine maintenance of mechanical equipment—including the two main engines, the two transmissions, and the two… …generators. The work involved analyzing oil samples, servicing fluids and filters, replacing raw-water pump impellers, adjusting valve clearances, and installing new MAN air filter elements.
